Just like 1992’s “Living in Bondage”, “Rattle Snake”, released in 1995, will soon see its remake. Charles Okpaleke, the co-founder of Play Network Africa, announced the remake of two classic Nollywood blockbusters, “Glamour Girls” and “Rattle Snake”, after acquiring the rights to both films.
The filmmaker took to his Instagram page to announce the dates. Both films will be released in cinemas.

Charles is the executive producer of “Living In Bondage: Breaking Free” which has grossed over 140 million since it hit the cinemas.
“Glamour Girls” is a film that tells the story of a village girl influenced into prostitution in Lagos. The classic film features veteran actors and actresses such as Liz Benson, Zack Orji, Eucharia Anunobi, Sola Fosudo, amongst others and produced by Kenneth Nnebue’s NEK limited.
“Rattle Snake” is one of the Nollywood films that will always be remembered in Nigeria. The film was directed by Amaka Igwe and produced by Austin Awulonu in the year 1995.
It tells the tale of Ahanna Okolo, a young boy thrown into the world of crime and gang rivalry after a twist of fate cut his happy childhood short.
It featured the likes of Francis Duru, Nkem Owoh, Anne Njemanze, Ebele Uzochukwu. Bob Manuel, Okey Igwe, Julius Agwu and a host of others also featured in the film.
The remake of “Rattle Snake” will be directed by Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah. Ramsey made his directorial debut with “Living In Bondage- Breaking Free”. The film will release in cinemas between November and December 2020.
