Gmail turned 15 on 1st April 2019. Google celebrated the day by introducing some new updates. It is improving Gmail’s “Smart Compose” function and giving users the option to schedule emails.

In the updated version, Google will now match your individual writing style. It will adapt to the way you write with the smart compose feature. It will also automatically compose and suggest subject lines based on the body of your email.

According to Google, Smart Compose will save people from typing over one billion characters on the web every week. The features, which are now available to Android users, will be on iOS devices soon.

By clicking an arrow next to the “Send” button, users will now be able to schedule messages to be sent at a later time. This action will bring up the schedule, and you can then choose from pre-sets or specify a specific time and date.

In the past, users could schedule emails using third-party extensions on Gmail, but this new move has made it even easier. It is also great for communicating across different time zones. This way, you can schedule the emails to when the receiver is actively awake or at work.

Google has also announced that Inbox by Google and Google Plus no longer exists. Hopefully, you were able to retrieve your Google Plus images before now. If you weren’t, the images are all gone.
