Beats Announces New $150 Active Noise Cancellation Studio Buds Earbud

Beats yesterday announced a new pair of truly wireless earbuds, the Beats Studio Buds. These buds retail for $149.9, available in black, red, or white.

These buds have no ear hooks or stems and they supposedly lightweight as a result of this. They also look much smaller than Powerbeats pro.

 

The studio buds are IPX4 seat and water-resistant, offer serious active noise cancellation, can last up to five hours on a charge. when noise cancellation is off.

They offer USB-C FOR charging, for the price they do not have wireless charging capabilities. Beats allowed support for both Andriod and iOS for these studio buds. They can also do hands-free “Hey Siri commands”.

 

The studio buds have a fast and easy Airpods-like setup, while on Andriod they work with fast pair and Google’s Find My Device functionality. These buds borrow a lot of Apple’s Airpods pro design language.

Beats redesigned the studio buds with 8.2-millimeter drivers, they claimed users can expect  “outstanding stereo separation and low harmonic distortion across the frequency curve so you hear every note.”

 

Preorders for these beats in the US started yesterday and other retail stores like Amazon and Best Buy.
