BBNaija’s Tacha Akide helped rescue a young man who attempted to take his life yesterday in Lagos. 
BBNaija’s lockdown ex-housemate Prince Nelson Enwerem had tweeted that his friend shared a photo of a sniper—an insecticide fatal upon consumption by humans— bottle on his status with a caption that suggested he was going to end his life.
Raising an alarm, Prince pleaded with people who lived near his friend whom he called Somto to please reach out as he was a full 1hr away.
Among those who swung to action was Tacha. She soon reached Somto who had already consumed the harmful substance.
“I just got a call now from a friend that he and @Symply_Tacha have found Somto and are currently at a hospital. Thank you so much@Symply_Tacha. May God bless your Kind heart. And to everyone here that showed concern, God bless you too immensely Folded hands” Prince later tweeted

Tacha also confirmed that she was Prince’s friend and prayed he never had reason to end his life again.
“I pray Somto finds every reason to never think of suicide again,” she wrote. “ May God in his infinite mercies and grace make his life and dreams a living Testament”
Tacha Akide took the internet by storm when she participated in BBNaija Season 4 tagged “Pepperdem”. She was most famous for her squabbles with fellow housemate and the edition’s winner Mercy Eke and was eventually disqualified from the show.
This didn’t stop her from reaching stardom which she’s channelled into being an entrepreneur and even activism.
