Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe and her estranged husband Lanre Gentry have again unsheathed their swords on Instagram as they continue to drag themselves.
Gentry had taken to Instagram to call his ex-wife a prostitute and threatened to expose her wicked ways.
“It doesn’t take me a minute to expose all your shady secrets, callous, inhuman and prostitution acts with all your so-called marketer. But I won’t because of my son, Juwon and your very good mother,” he wrote
“But when the time comes, the whole world will still know the fake life you are living and you need to stop all this your arrogant life.”
The mother of two swiftly responded writing on her IG stories that she was ready to drag her ex through the mud this time.
“Abeg nobody should call me oh!!! This man wants to see craze. Lanre Gentry o fe ri werey! I am ready for you day and I will forget my home training! I go forget public figure! Just bring it on!!! Shameless man,” she wrote.
She also threatened to release receipts if Gentry dared her more.

The estranged couple re-activated their long-festering beef with each other on father’s day, Sunday, June 20th, 2021.
Mercy Aigbe had shared a post, wishing herself a happy fathers day;
“Happy Father’s Day to me and all the responsible fathers out there! 2 Kids ( 1 international student) …. changing naira to dollars with this dollar rate! Abeg it’s not easy!😢😂😁 but God has been Gracious!” she wrote.

“Please no one should come and tell me how I shouldn’t take the shine off Fathers oh! (Fatherhood is beyond just impregnating a woman, if you are a man and do not perform your responsibilities towards your kids, Biko you ain’t fit to be called a Father and that’s on Period!!!!🙄).”
“So, Since I am playing the dual role in my children’s lives, allow me celebrate myself every day! Cos it’s not easy!”
Lanre Gentry soon responded with a lengthy post on Instagram. He slamed Mercy Aigbe, writing that she didn’t come from a good background hence her attitude.
“I’m a father to all my children I pray for all fathers in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ amen. If you like take your children to moon is nobody’s business, If you like pay in yen or dollar is nobody’s palaba I have helped you to pay another man daughter school fees before so,” part of his post read.
Mercy Aigbe in turn lashed at her ex-husband, calling him an irresponsible liar.
“Mr Lanre Gentry you better stop with the stupid lies! You better don’t just infuriate me! Lara Gentry call your useless father to order oh!!!! Cos really I have had enough of his nonsense!!!!!” she wrote.
“And the most irresponsible father award goes to my Ex!” she continued, “This shameless man who instead of him to cover his face in shame, will rather come online to post rubbish! I normally ignore you when you respond to my Father’s Day post! But you see this one! Bring it on!!!! I am ready! Alailojuti.”
Mercy Aigbe and her husband split in 2017 and have fought on social media off and on since then. The marriage ended amidst allegations of domestic violence and infidelity. They share a son, Juwon while Aigbe has a teenage daughter Michelle from a previous relationship.
