Chrissy Teigen says she feels lost and depressed after receiving severe backlash for bullying several people with her past tweets. The cookbook author had written on her blog post to apologise for the tweets including the one where she encouraged reality star Courtney Stodden to take her own life.
On July 14th, Teigen took to her Instagram to share how she felt about being “cancelled”.
“Going outside sucks and doesn’t feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race.”
The former model who’s married to singer John Legend has built an impressive online presence over the years with 34 million followers on Instagram and 13 million on Twitter.
She’s however suffered losses since her old tweets were unearthed. The mom of two was dropped by some brands who sponsored her. She also stepped down from voicing in Netlfix’s “Never Have I Ever” last month. Teigen has now being replaced by US model Gigi Hadid.

“Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a whole lot.” she continued.
“Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know until you’re in it.
“And it’s hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously you sound whiney when you’ve clearly done something wrong. It just sucks. There is no winning.”
Teigen in her previous apology had said she’s now a different person from the one who made those tweets after getting married, having kids and going for therapy.
In her Instagram post, she said didn’t want to continue “pretending everything is okay”.
“I just needed an honest moment with you because I’m just… tired of being sick with myself all day.
“If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch!”
