PlayStation Showcase 2021: Sony’s Biggest Announcements & Trailers

Sony’s PlayStation virtual showcase 2021 event in Vietnam made some big announcements and unveiled trailers for its console. It made even bigger announcements than the Gamescom Xbox event held last month.

Missing in the event is its next generation of VR devices as previously mentioned. Sony announced its highly in-demand titles like Spider-Man 2 and God of War: Ragnarok. It even announced a new game the Wolverine.

Interestingly, Insomniac Spider-Man developer would also make a new game Wolverine for its PlayStation 5 consoles. The company is pushing for a spider-Man sequel that would feature Venom in 2023.

Sony now has a God of War Title Ragnarok in the works. The Trailer has some smooth transitions and gameplay.

Gran Turismo 7

The car gaming title would launch on March 4th for the PlayStation 5. Sony’s Premier racing series is a fierce rival to the Xbox Forza Horizon 5.

Grand Theft Auto V

The popular next generation of the gaming title is coming to the PlayStation 5, probably march next year. Originally launched in 2013, the GTA online version will also be available for gamers.

Remastering

Unchartered

The unchartered legacy of thieves recent games, Thief’s End and Lost Legacy are getting remastered for the PS5 and PC. They will be available in the early months of next year.

Alan Wake

Another game getting a remastering is Alan Awake. Remedy, the developer of the game teased some sick changes to the visuals of the game in this brief video. Sony’s showcase 2021 event lasted 40 minutes, and it was live on YouTube and Twitch.
