Apple has disclosed that the App Store developers have earned over $260 billion since it launched in 2008. In its recent press release, the tech company also said its sales figure between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve soared by a double-digit amount.
Despite all of this good news, the App Store developers frown at Apple’s high 30 percent take from all of their app transactions. This is the same issue at Google, developers are insisting the cut from the Stores are ridiculously high.
Apple has reduced App store prices in South Africa and other countries. The tech company revealed these price changes in some potential markets around the world. The United Kingdom is among the countries with reduced App store prices, countries that use the Euro as their official currency also get a discount.

Elsewhere Apple is doing the reverse, it is increasing App store prices in Georgia and Tajikistan as a result of a value-added tax of 18% for those countries. This is good for developers, as they will be earning higher than their last cut of the App Store revenue.
Apple months ago launched its new online store with a big design overhaul, more specific product, and services navigations. On the website’s landing page, there are specific links and images for the company’s products. Starting from the left is the Mac link and to the extreme right is the Apple TV.
It’s a far simpler version of the older Online store. Scrolling down is a What’s new section of the site that shows the company’s latest promotions and greatest products and accessories. The new online store feels mobile, as it has vertical swipes on the web. The web page transitions and scrolls are quite smooth.
