Warri based Pastor Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has gifted veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze the sum of ₦1.5Million to offset his medical bills and recovery process.

This new cash gift comes after the same Pastor sponsored the actor’s procedural surgery to the sum of ₦8Million

Clem Ohameze opened up about his health struggles in November 2021.

In a video that surfaced on the internet on Wednesday 24th November, the actor said his health challenges started after he had a car accident some time ago.

In the footage, Ohameze said doctors informed him that he has to undergo procedural surgery to separate his cervical vertebrae three from four to free his spinal cord permanently. He, therefore, called on Nigerians to pray for him ahead of his surgery.

Meanwhile, in a chat with BBC Pidgin in December 2021, the film star said he only asked for prayers, adding that he doesn’t want money from anyone.

“The only thing I need from people is their prayer. There’s nothing more than prayers. Prayers go beyond everything. I don’t want money from anybody, I only want their good thoughts and prayers,” he said.

The actor also disclosed that his absence in movies in recent times was due to his health challenges.
