Veteran Nollywood director Moses Ebere, is dead. The ace director worked on Nollywood block buster movies including 1992 “Living In Bondage”.
Ebere’s demise was made public by filmmaker Amayo Uzo Philips, via his Facebook page on Wednesday, March 23.
According to Phillips, the deceased died on Tuesday, March 22.
“I heard a very bad news about Moses Ebere, one of the oldest Nollywood veteran directors. Met him in the ’80s as a powerful editor and that was before the coming of Nollywood,” Uzo wrote.
“I spoke with him regularly recently because he was planning to come and shoot in my state.
And I was helping him with an epic location. This night one of my writer friends called me to say that Moses has passed on today. Sad news for me.”

Moses Ebere is a graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN). Born in Isiala Ngwa, Abia state, he began his Nollywood career as a film editor.
He also edited Nigeria’s longest television series “Ripples”, produced by Zeb Ejiro.
Other projects he worked on are “Glamour Girls” and “Living In Bondage”
