1. To launch another document or website, simply hold down Command and tap the Space Bar to bring up Spotlight. With this, you can just type the app in the search bar and click Enter (return) to launch it.
2. To preview any file, app, or document before opening it fully, use the Space Bar after you select what you need in the Finder. Note that when you perform this operation on an app, you only get a bigger image of its icon. For others like an image, a video, or a document, you can preview its contents in a large screen. You can even drag your cursor and copy texts from text documents in the preview.

3. In Finder, if you remember the exact folder that you need to find, you can go there directly by pressing Shift+Command+G to bring up the Go dialog box. Then, enter the Folder path, tap on Enter and get taken there immediately.
4, If you have several apps open at the same time, you can move through them by holding the Command Key and tapping on the Tab button. The action brings up a bar that lists all open apps, and the bar only stays on the screen when you let go of the Command key. With your trackpad, mouse or arrow keys, you can navigate to apps. You can also keep holding down the Command Key while tapping the Tab key to highlight the next app, and the next one…
5. Use the tilde key, the wavy line “~” button to the left of Z on a regular keyboard, to move between windows in the same app. Just hold down the Command key and tap the tilde key to move between windows in an app. However, it doesn’t allow you see which windows are open in the app.
6. In cases where it applies, you can ‘minimize’ apps with a keyboard shortcut, which hides other apps: simply hold the Option and Command Keys, and tap on H.
7. To take an image of your entire screen, you can press Command+Shift+3 or use Command+Shift+4 to take a screen shot of a portion by dragging your cursor over the part you want. If you want to take a screenshot of just one window, press Command+Shift+4, navigate to the cross-hair cursor of a window and tap the space bar. With Command+Shift+5, you can bring up the screen recording dialog.
