It all began when Rihanna took to Instagram to leave a heartwarming comment on a post by Nigerian singer Tems.
Furthermore, this Friday, with the release of “Lift Me Up,” the lead single from the upcoming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” original soundtrack,
the internationally renowned singer-songwriter turned billionaire fashion entrepreneur Rihanna will make her much awaited radio comeback.
And guess who co-wrote the song? well you guessed right, Baby girl Tems
Meanwhile Tems took to Instagram today to share the cover design for Lift Me Up
then revealed she is blessed to have written the song in honor of Chadwick Boseman.
Rihanna commented on Tems post, writing: “”It’s the pen for me. Love to you sistren.”

Speaking on her contributions on the single, Nigerian international sensation Tems said:
“After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life. I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them. Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honor.”
