Nollywood film “Soole” dropped on Netflix in October and it’s the first film produced by Nollywood actress Adunni Ade.
“Soole” is a story developed around the experience of a Catholic nun named Veronica, played by Adunni Ade, who travels from Lagos to Enugu after failing to raise the needed funds for an orphanage home. On her journey to Enugu, she opted for a cheap option ride popularly called “Soole” where she met different commuters like herself. The journey to Enugu is riddled with lots of drama, including an armed robbery attack.
The film contains all the comedy and activities that would usually characterize an interstate trip. From the passengers calling out the driver from time to time, to unnecessary arguments amongst passengers.

For characterization, the actors did justice to their roles and were simply splendid in their performance. Some of the actors handled the weapons used in the film, with some expertise, which proves there was some level of training before the film was shot.
“Soole” also came some suspense here and there. In the middle of the film, one will think that the bus has been attacked by armed robbers only to find out that the armed men were kidnappers.
Let’s just say this film is another Nollywood flick with not so deep story line, may have been predictable at some point, but still a good watch.
