With the several versions and interpretations of some classical music pieces over the years, an app such as this is important for fans and enthusiasts. The company has been working on improving its classical music offering since acquiring classical music streamer Primephonic in 2021. We’d believed that it would just upload the playlists and content on its regular music streaming app but Apple was taking things a step further.

It is not clear if Apple will scrub all the classical music tracks on its existing streaming platform or just leave it and hope that genuine fans will prefer the standalone app instead when it launches.
