The mail app on the iPhone is one of the most convenient and easy to use. However, to delete old useless emails is not the easiest task. Some people also find it uneasy when they have the notification button with thousands of unread messages. The fact that there is no “select all” button also makes it difficult to delete all messages in one sweep.

There is a little hack to select all the emails on the iPhone in Edit mode and select the messages. You can now proceed to move it to the trash folder. These few steps will make deleting emails on your phone much easier.

Keep in mind that this process works one folder at a time. This way, you can delete the entire inbox at once. It is better when you store emails in different subfolders so that you can delete each folder one at a time.
