Paramount released the first “Sonic the Hedgehog” film trailer, and it’s got everyone laughing! The trailer features all the leading characters of the film. It stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog and Jim Carrey as Sonic’s nemesis Doctor Robotnik.
Also, other casts who brought their wits and grits to play are James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Adam Pally and Neal McDonough.
Filming took place between July and October 2018 in Vancouver, Ladysmith and Vancouver Island.
The film is directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Patrick Casey, Josh Miller and Oren Uziel from a story by Van Robichaux and Evan Susser.
While it gets you chuckling at the humorous scenes, the clash with the soundtrack did get confusing. It’s obvious there’s a comic take on the trailer. However, the choice of “Coolio’s Gangsters Paradise” seems questionable. What’s more, the hedgehog has teeth! Okay, no spoilers!
The film is set for release on 8th November 2019.
