Naira Marley’s management recently released an official statement following his arrest. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested the artiste last Friday, 10th May 2019.

Recently, less than a week after Naira Marley’s arrest with four other people, the law enforcement agency filed 11 charges against him. He faced the charges for allegedly committing internet fraud, popularly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’.

The “Issa Go” crooner has been in custody for five days. He was not released with Zlatan and three other artists. His management requested the media not to discredit the artist. According to them, they are working diligently to prove his innocence. They also addressed him as a hardworking musician and father.
