Hot series to watch after “Game of Thrones”
1. Black Sails
GoT fans would love “Black Sails” because of the gritty grimness and similar violence. This series has all the s*x, violence and n****y you need, but with a swashbuckling high-seas twist. “Black Sails” is a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s “Treasure Island”. It follows the adventure of the most feared pirate, Captain Flint.
He is the leader of a band of cutthroat pirates. However, his daily life of thieving, piracy and pillaging is turned upside down by the arrival of Luke Arnold’s John Silver. Together, the unlikely crew begins a sprawling battle for the Island of New Providence. On the island overrun with thieves, pirates and prostitutes, Flint has to maintain control. From the first season, you become familiar with the characters. Then by the second season, you become officially glued. The complete four seasons are all you need to get yourself satisfied after GOT.

2. Outlander
While Starz has a number of successful shows, this proves to be one of the most successful ones. For GoT fans, you can get in on the fantasy, violence, historical references and romance involved. This romantic period series follows the life of Claire Randall, a former World War II nurse, who is pulled into the past on her honeymoon. It’s produced by Ronald D. Moore (“Star Trek” and “Battlestar Galactica”) and, like GoT, it’s based on a book series.
In the series, you get swept up in the intrigue of 18th Century Scotland. Claire gets married to a Highlander, Jamie Fraser with whom she quickly falls in love. She becomes trapped between time and men, and it only gets stranger from there on out. Split between two fates, the story gets more thrilling. Claire gets involved in many steamy s*x scenes in the midst of all the plot twist.

3. The Tudors
This is a Netflix series that retells the life of Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers). Although it’s not entirely fantastical, it is an epic new series that reveals the scandalous life of the stunning young monarch who ruled his kingdom with ruthless abandon. Also playing one of his six wives is GOT’s Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), the one-time queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
In the series, we follow the life of Henry VIII and his lust for power and appetite for love. He has an affair with Anne Boleyn following his obsession to produce a male heir. This, in turn, changed the institution of marriage forever. The series is also packed with murder, corsets, deceit and s*x.

4. The Innocents
What begins as a Romeo and Juliet-style story of a young couple on the run takes a swift turn. The series follows the adventure of June who wants to start a new life in London, but then it gets complicated. She begins to manifest powerful and chilling abilities. June also begins to find her body and identity shift in ways she could have never imagined. Then she finds herself the subject of a kidnap plot, their intentions unknown. Spooky and original, The Innocents presents a sharp and savvy take on prestige fantasy.

5. Kingdom – A Netflix Original Series
This is a Netflix first original series from South Korea. So, Korean fans, get on board this blockbuster train. This is one of the most unusual and original series set during the medieval age of Korea’s Joseon dynasty.
‘Kingdom” is a sprawling historical fantasy that uses zombie tropes as a smart way to explore the socio-political impact of a monarchy, as well as a whole lot of undead sword fights. When rumour gets out that the king of Joseon is deathly ill, his son decides to embark on a mission to discover what’s behind the mysterious sickness. This causes him to lead the fight against the oncoming invasion of the once-dead.
