The latest JaneMichael Collection is giving us major Safari vibes. Jane Michael Ekanem founded the collection, titled “One Man Army”, in 2017. Her struggles in the industry inspired the collection. The fashion designer reflected this in the powerful yet stylish theme of the collection with its military-inspired style.
Prior to the launch, Ekanem was a recognised stylist in the industry, having worked with A-list African celebrities. Some of these celebrities include Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Chidinma, Bonang Matheba and many more. She fought her way to the top, and also pushed herself to succeed. This collection is evident in the strength of the statement she set out to make.

The colours in the JaneMichael collection range from green to blood red, navy blue, khaki and even white. The pattern is edgy, while the design is one that’s strong but yet fits the form of a woman. It’s a throwback to the 80s with the African-infused embellished shoulders.
