While they don’t reveal the plot of the story, you can guess it’s about the power sisters. Apparently, Elsa is on a mission to investigate her past and why she was born with magical powers. However, what she finds there could put her – and the world – in danger. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey.
In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.
“We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world. Now we must hope they are enough,” the Troll King warns. The Frozen sequel is from Academy Award-winning team — directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck.
Co-director Chris Buck talks about how the biggest change will be Elsa.
“[In Frozen] she had such a dramatic journey and, at the end, she’s just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again,” he told Fandango. “That’s what was really good about the short [2015’s Frozen Fever] – we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality… you will see in the next one.”
Meanwhile, Peter Del Vecho produced the sequel. The songs fans can’t wait to get addicted to, just like ‘Let It Go‘, are written by songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
The sequel features the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad.
Frozen 2 will debut in theatres on 22nd November 2019.
