Questions and suggestions continue to fly around on social media over the r**e scandal between celebrity photographer Busola Dakolo and COZA senior pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. We have seen hashtags trending on social media to show support for the alleged victim and also to demand justice. #iStandWithBusolaDakolo, #iStandWithTheTruth and now #PastorStepDown are just some of such hashtags.
Yesterday, 28th June 2019, Y TV published a video where Dakolo details her experiences with Biodun Fatoyinbo, beginning from when she was a teenager newly attending his church.
Fatoyinbo has publicly denied the allegations via a press release published on his Instagram page.
Nevertheless, many continue to debate the issue. Many believe it was the truth, a few insist that it is false, and others sit on the shaky fence, waiting for the truth to come out.
#PastorStepDown
Multiple individuals, however, insist that the pastor step down, whether or not he is guilty, pending the resolution of the matter.
Take a look at some of the posts calling for this below.
Let every @cozaglobal member in their right sensibilities start getting their placards ready.
Sunday service in every branch of COZA must not be church as usual. Special programs must be on hold. Guest ministers and gospel artists stay home.#PastorStepDown

I still can’t look at my pastors picture. A glimpse & my heart breaks. The love i spoke of for him is real. He’s been such a big influence in my life.
But I know the right thing. This is why we cannot allow for him to be on the altar. Bias should not find way.#PastorStepDown— Akah Bants (@akahnnani) June 29, 2019
Waking up this morning to DMs from past members/workers of COZA narrating their ordeals. They don’t know each other, 2 of them are strangers to me. Their stories are similar, some were lucky to get away some weren’t. Some were threatened by the church #PastorStepDown

Apostle Paul was very clear about his take on this issue. #Coza members please demand for your pastor to step down!!! Separate the church from the man #PastorStepDown pic.twitter.com/slyT2HSU0x

Till this issue is handled, till the law takes it’s full course….there should be no sermon on that pulpit from him. No one is pointing fingers but what is right is right. #PastorStepDown

The only reason Busola spoke up is because clearly what happened to her was not a mistake or an exception.
Almost 40women now.
It’s a pattern.
It’s a norm.
By that Pastor.
In that church.
Towards many women.I’m a Christian myself
And this is beyond shameful.#PastorStepDown— OurFavOnlineDoctor 💘 🥳 (@DrOlufunmilayo) June 29, 2019

She speaks out and we try to poke holes in her story… and behind all this drama another abuser smiles because ‘it’ knows we always silence the abused. Not today! #PastorStepDown

I think most Pastors wives were either their victims or mere accomplices. I don’t understand why a Pastor’s wife will stay married to a man with so much s****l scandals.
People should start talking about these ills.
Mommy GO you have a duty to protect your flocks.#PastorStepDown— Pepple Medlyn Tonye (@sugarstick4life) June 29, 2019

After carefully examining the use of words by the accused Pastor, I can affirmatively confirm that his writing skill is poor & he’s obviously lieing. How dare you address yourself as singular and plural at the same time? And or why drag your members to your case??#PastorStepDown pic.twitter.com/gqJ4eQ0uTU
