Following allegations of r**e and pressure to step down, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has officially stepped down. He did this on Monday morning, 1st July 2019. The alleged r****t stepped down as the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA.

Fatoyinbo made this known in his Instagram post where he wrote:

“The past few days have been very sobering on me. I have taken time to seek spiritual counsel form Christian leaders around the world who feel very concerned about the ongoing report in the media.

“I have solicited their guidance on actions I should take that is honouring to our Lord Jesus Christ and the work he has called me to do.

“Drawing from their counsel and that of the leadership of COZA and owing to my love for Lord’s work and the sacred honour of my calling I have decided to take a leave of absence from the pulpit of the church.”

Plat4om had earlier reported the allegations of r**e from Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola. The mother of three revealed to Y TV about the assault, which occurred 17 years ago when she was underage. Also, other women have spoken out on the issue of s****l assault from the pastor.

In reaction to this, the public – celebrities inclusive – had requested for him to step down as pastor. Although, he is adamant in his denial of ever r****g anyone, he has stepped down from the pulpit.
