Taylor Swift’s third single off her album, “Archer”, will hit you in all the vulnerable parts of your heart. There’s a reason it’s this emotional besides the solemn voice of the Hollywood baby herself. “Archer” was released on 23rd July 2019, Wednesday while in the middle of an Instagram live session.
“There’s a lot that’s covered emotionally and I really wanted to give you track five before the album came out,” she said. “I didn’t realise I was doing this, but as I was making albums, I guess I was just kind of putting a very vulnerable, personal, honest, emotional song as track five.”

“So because you noticed this, I kind of started to put the songs that were really honest, emotional, vulnerable and personal as track five, so that has definitely happened in the case of track five on this album, “Lover”,” Taylor Swift added.
The release was made just after news broke that she had been nominated for 10 songs at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
Archer would also take the fifth slot of her album. This is very much expected as that slot is traditionally reserved for the singer’s ‘honest, emotional, vulnerable’ lyrics.
Just recently, the singer made headlines after calling out her ex-manager, Scooter Braun. She called him out after the mega-manager bought her old label, along with her masters. Taylor Swift also made headlines when her fans realised she was going to star in the musical, Cats.
So far, “Archer” has received worldwide praise and her fans have shared their emotional responses to her new single.

Her previous singles off the track, “Me” and “You Need to Calm Down”, did not receive as much positive feedback. The first was released in April with a colourful video shoot. While the latter was released in June.
The singer’s seventh album, Lover, is set to be released on 23rd August 2019.
