Beyonce has shared the secret to how she prepared for Coachella, and the workout routine is intense! She revealed that, before her legendary “Beychella” show in 2018, the singer and recent Lion King star went on a 44-day diet. Beyonce’s diet consisted of organic, non-GMO, plant-based food. Now, Beyonce has shared her secrets in a 22-day diet plan for her fans.

In a new video posted on YouTube on Wednesday, Beyonce gave fans a sneak peek at how she got in shape after giving birth to her twins, Sir and Rumi, just a few months prior. The video prompted the “22 Days Nutrition” program, which was founded by Beyonce’s longtime friend and personal fitness trainer, Marco Borges.
In partnership with Borges, she plans to provide her fans with information and recipes “that empower everyone to become their healthiest [selves] through proper nutrition.
Along with diet information, the video includes brief clips of Beyonce during her intense workout routines at the gym. There are also clips of her doing dance rehearsals. At the beginning of the video, Beyonce weighs herself and shows that she weighed 175 pounds pre-Coachella.
Homecoming
Previously, Beyonce had opened up about her struggles with post-partum weight. She revealed further details of her weight loss journey in her documentary and concert film, ‘Homecoming’.
She explained in the film that she weighed 218 pounds the day she gave birth and she had to rebuild her body from cut muscles. “What people don’t see is the sacrifice”, the megastar said.
Also, she discussed her struggles in a series of essays in Vogue magazine last September. Beyonce revealed that her body swelled up from toxaemia after delivering the babies via an emergency C section. The twins spent weeks in the intensive care unit.
“To this day, my arms, shoulders, breasts and thighs are fuller. I have a little mommy pouch, and I’m in no rush to get rid of it. I think it’s real. Whenever I’m ready to get a six-pack, I will go into beast zone and work my a** off until I have it. But right now, my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be”, Beyonce told the magazine.
