Actually, Netflix will do the reminding so you never miss anything, especially if you intend to spend your weekend indoors. Netflix is adding a Latest section to its TV app. The section will list the latest films and TV shows released during the week.

Friday nights can now be catch-up night on TV with the new introduction. The section will also inform you about the forthcoming shows to expect on the platform the following week. These titles listed will also have their trailer available. Users can ask then Netflix to remind them when a program they want to watch becomes available.

The notifications will appear once a user launches the app. The list will also be tailored to the taste of the individual members. The section will be made available to Netflix apps on Smart TVs, streaming devices and game consoles.

From today, the section will now be located on the sidebar of the app. It will also be updated daily. This new feature is quite similar to the Coming Soon section already available on Netflix’s Android app.

Before now, Netflix users have had to rely on the New Releases or Trending Now suggestions for new shows. Plat4om has also tried to feed you with some articles on what is coming. However, with the new section, the show-finding issue is more seamless. Unfortunately, the feature won’t be on Netflix’s web app. Maybe it is time for you to download the app.
