Users are still only anticipating the release of the iOS 13, but Apple has other ideas. By 10th September 2019, Apple is expected to release the iOS 13. The American tech company may also be announcing its new iPhone 11 on the said day. However, before all of that, Apple has surprised everyone by releasing the iOS 13.1 beta.
This move is incredibly unusual and unexpected. The common practice would be to release the first OS before its improvements. However, it does seem like Apple is having a bit of struggle. They were unable to make the release date for some software features that should be in the iOS13. For example, the AirPlay 2 and FaceTime group chats features had some software bugs. The features also have critical issues that Apple needs to fix.
It may be that Apple does not have the answers yet. This would answer the question of why the tech company is distracting its users with the iOS 13.1 beta release. However, it would make sense for Apple to take time to concentrate on making the iOS 13 available for all users. That way, they can spot all the other issues it may have.
Apple has listed AirPods Audio Sharing as one of the features of iOS 13.1. Although, it was a feature Apple said would be on the iOS 13. However, it also equally features on the iOS 13 beta.
Apple recently said it was giving away a million dollars to anyone that can find a security flaw in its devices. Apple also plans to supply special iPhones to security researchers to help them find flaws in iOS next year.
