Android 10 will roll out for Pixel phones from 3rd September 2019. According to PhoneArena, this was confirmed by some Google employees. The tech media outlet claimed that it got the information by simply asking a Google support agent online.

The agent replied,

“Thanks for showing interest in the new Android version 10. I would like to inform you that the Android Q will be rolled out to the devices from September 3, 2019.”

If this information is true, Pixel 3a will be able to update the Android 10 in a week. Although, Google is yet to officially announce the release date.

All Google Pixel phones will have the ability to update to Android 10 upon release. However, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will run on the Android 10 right out of the box. Some listed devices will receive the Android 10 upon its release in September. Google already revealed that the OS will come to its Pixel phones first for obvious reasons.

Meanwhile, Google recently announced that it was changing the name of the Operating System from Android Q to Android 10. The tech giants made the move while ushering in a new generation of OS naming pattern.
