Who would have thought that Zlatan’s music career started years ago when he won the Airtel “One Mic” competition where he received a car reward?
He had his big break in 2018 when he dropped his hit track, “Zanku”, which brought about the popular “Zanku leg work” dance that went viral.
He was also featured in Burna Boy’s “Killin Dem”, a song that took his career to a whole new level.
Although he has had his share of controversies, in May, he was arrested alongside Naira Marley in connection with an alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering.
Zlatan was later released while Naira Marley was charged to court.
To think that Zlatan Ibile went from a cold room to big stages is a form of inspiration to everyone. Presently promoting his latest hit, “Yeye Boyfriend”, he has proven to be one hard-working musician who has not only taken the music industry by storm, but who is also doing his best to remain relevant.
