Popular Instagram celebrity Hushpuppi has done major editing on his Instagram bio. Hushpuppi’s Instagram bio, which used to read “The Billionaire Gucci Master”, now states “Real Estate Developer”.

This comes after his fellow Instagram big boy Ismaila Mustapha aka Mompha was arrested by officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday, 18th October 2019.

He is presently in custody for matters relating to fraud and money laundering.

A week later, Hushpuppi wrote a post on Instagram advising his followers not to mock anyone in their time of trials. He prayed that God’s guidance will lead anyone going through a dark time in their lives.

His fans were quick to comment that the post came from a place of solidarity for Mompha. Some advised that he remain in Dubai to avoid being arrested by the anti-graft agency.

Hushpuppi is known for looking lavish on social media. He flies on private jets to exotic holiday locations. He also buys luxury brands such as Gucci, Fendi, and Balenciaga directly from their stores whenever he travels.

Since Mompha’s arrest, Hushpuppi has stopped flaunting his luxurious lifestyle. We wonder if his new profession is his own way of hiding from the EFCC because he is yet to display the properties he has for sale.
