Burna Boy Is The First African Artiste To Sell Out Wembley Arena London

Burna Boy has become the first African artiste to sell out Wembley Arena in London. The event, which held yesterday at SSE Arena, Wembley in London, was another leg of the multi-city “African Giant Tour”. The artist has already visited several cities in the US and across Europe

 

Burna updated his Instagram with a photo he captioned “SSE ARENA TONIGHT! for the biggest one yet in”. Just as he predicted, the Wembley which is a 12,500 capacity arena close to Wembley Stadium, was indeed big.

 

Present at the show was Star Boy Wizkid and Davido. Davido performed his hit songs “IF”, “Blow My Mind”, and “Fall”.

 

Wizkid then thrilled the crowd as he performed his popular single “Soco”. A few months ago, both Wizkid and Davido their concert at the 02 Arena London. Both events were sold out.

 

Burna was then given a plaque from the management of the venue in recognition of his feat. On the same night, he also won the “Best African Act’ award at the star-studded 2019 MTV EMA held in Seville, Spain.
