Popular Nigerian musician Abolore Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice, is set to marry for the third time this year. The singer is getting married to his baby mama, Sunkami Ajala, who he has a daughter Mitchelle with. The couple will wed at an already fixed date in December 2019.

9ice’s first marriage was to poet Toni Payne In 2008, and they had a son together. When the marriage collapsed, he got into a relationship with Vicki Godis who bore him a set of twins. However, the twins no longer bear his surname due to his absence from their lives.

Much later, in August 2018, the “Gongo Aso” singer tied the knot with a US-based engineer, Adetola Anifalaje, and the couple had a girl together named Milani-Francoise Imisioluwa Akande.

As stated earlier, this will be 9ice’s third marriage to Sunkanmi Ajala who bore him a daughter in 2014. Reports have it that the couple will wed at an already fixed date in December 2019.

Sunkanmi and 9ice’s relationship has been in and off before the wedding. The two welcomed their first daughter, Michelle Abolanle Akande, five years ago. Sunkanmi Ajala is an event planner based in Lagos.

His parents are, however, distancing themselves from this marriage because of their active involvement in the first two marriages which later crashed.

Perhaps 9ice has found love in the eyes of Sunkanmi and is now ready to make their relationship legal. We wish both of them a happy married life in advance.
