Popular Gospel singer Sinach has welcomed the birth of her first child at the age of 46.

 

Osinachi Joseph Kalu popularly known as Sinach is now a mother of a son after five years of marriage.

 

The Head Pastor of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome broke the news during the just concluded LIMA Awards which held at the Loveworld Convocation Arena.

 

At the event, Sinach won the Song of the Year Award 2019 with her track, “There’s An Overflow”. She went home with the 100,000 US dollars prize.

 

Pastor Chris while giving her the award and breaking the news said:

”Thank you for that song, we are all excited with what the Lord has done in your life, of course in the life of many others standing with you here we just love you. And I told them, you just had a baby! so everybody got excited”.

Sinach, is a Nigerian born gospel music singer, songwriter, and senior worship leader at Believers’ Loveworld International. News of Sinach having her first child has lit up the social media space.

 

 

She is known globally for several gospel hits songs which include, “Way Maker”, “I Know Who I Am”, “Great Are You Lord”, “Rejoice”, amongst others.

 

In  March 2019, Sinach became the first Gospel singer from Nigeria to obtain over 100 million views of a single video on YouTube, and the third Nigerian to achieve that feat, next to Davido and Yemi Alade, who achieved the same feat in December 2018. She achieved this with her song, ”Way Maker”.

 

She got married to her husband, Pastor Joseph Egbu in 2014. Congratulations to the couple as they welcome their first child.
