2019 has been an interesting year for the entertainment industry in Nigeria. While some celebrity marriages crashed, some committed through engagements.
Below is a list of five Nigerian celebrities that got engaged in 2019
1. Bambam and Teddy A
These two met in BBNaija Season 3 “See Gobe”, after the show, they kept the relationship going and in August 2019, Bambam announced her engagement to Teddy A on Instagram.
They had their traditional wedding ceremony in Ilaro, Ogun State in September 2019. In November of this same year, they had their white wedding in Dubai. In attendance were ex-housemates of the reality show and top celebrities.
A week later, Bambam released photos of her baby bump on Instagram disclosing that she will be having a baby for her husband soon.
However, there has been a recent rumour of domestic violence, alleging that Teddy A has been beating his wife. Bambam however, debunked this rumour openly.
2. Khafi and Gedoni
Khafi and Gedoni were ex-housemates of BBNaija season 4 tagged: “Pepperdem”. These love birds just like Bambam and Teddy A continued their relationship after the show ended.
However, on 26th December 2019, Khafi announced her engagement to Gedoni. She posted a photo of them together holding a card that said: “I said Yes”.
3. Davido and Chioma
Davido and Chioma’s engagement was one event that went viral on the internet. The artiste took the internet by surprise as he posted a photo of his family at the family house of his girlfriend. He captioned the photo:
“First of all Introduction”.
A week later, he proposed to the heavily pregnant Chioma in London. Their son Ifeanyi David Adeleke was born on the 20th of October 2019. We look forward to their wedding in 2020.

4. Josh2Funny and Girlfriend
This comedian who became popular for his Instagram skits engaged his girlfriend on the 24th of October 2019. He made the announcement via his Instagram page.
According to him, he is now officially off the bachelorhood.
“Them don collect me oooooo 🙈,” he captioned one of the photos.
5. CrazeClown and Girlfriend
The Ukrainian trained medical doctor turned comedian posted his engagement photos on his Instagram page on 30th December 2019. He is also one of the celebrities that got engaged in 2019.
He also announced the big news In a very simple message. “She said YESSSSS!!! 😩❤️ 💍 #BestWayToEndTheYear,” he captions the photo
