So you are on a bus heading home after another hectic day at work, and traffic befalls you. At this point, all you are thinking of is getting home and sleeping but the traffic looks like it’s not getting better.

 

To make matters worse there is this fellow passenger who seems to have a word to say for everything and won’t keep mute. But do you know that you can have a good time with your fellow passengers while in traffic?

 

Below are five beautiful things you and a fellow passenger can do while in traffic.

 

1. Read a book

 

Reading a book while in traffic is a very good idea. If the bus is dark, you can opt for an e-book. There are mobile apps with which you can read different genres of literature online. You can either read alone and when you see a fellow passenger spying to read with you, transfer a copy to them.

 

2. Watch a film

 

This is another relaxing thing you can do while on the bus. You may not get the time to watch that film when you get home as you might be tired from all the traffic. To watch a film with a fellow passenger, ensure its a film with general censorship. You don’t want to watch an R-rated film with a minor. Also, be careful with your phone so that it does not get missing in the bus.

 

3. Listen to music

 

Music is very therapeutic for stress. Music helps to relax your nerves. Keep the volume to the minimal and close your eyes and be calm. You will be home in no time feeling refreshed.

4. Start a conversation

 

You can learn anywhere, even from that your “noisy fellow passenger”. Being in traffic is another opportunity to network. You do not know who may need your services when you keep mute. You can just chip in your idea while a conversation is going on. Just ensure it doesn’t turn into a heated argument. No one wants to sweat out an argument in heavy traffic.

 

There are many things you can do while in traffic to make that time a memorable one. You have been stressed at work already, make your bus experience more enjoyable.
