Autopsy Reveals The Cause Of Juice WRLD’s Death

An autopsy result has revealed the cause of the death of American rapper Jarad Anthony Higgins, known professionally as Juice WRLD. The result reveals that the music star died from oxycodone and codeine overdose.

 

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office disclosed this information on Wednesday, 22nd January 2020.  The medical examiner determined the rapper’s manner of death to be an accident.

 

Juice WRLD, died on Sunday, 8th December 2019, after suffering a seizure.

 

Autopsy Reveals Juice WRLD Died From Oxycodone and Codeine Overdose

 

This reportedly occurred at Chicago’s Midway airport after Juice WRLD arrived at the airport on a flight from California. According to reports, the 21-year-old rapper suffered a seizure while walking through the airport.

 

The pilot of the private plane had informed the authorities that Juice and his crew had guns on bound the plane. This prompted the FBI and FAA to wait for the plane as it landed.

Alexia Smith, the ex-girlfriend of the late rapper, revealed the rapper’s struggle with drugs. In the exclusive interview with Mail Online, she said Wrld would take up to three potent Percocet pills a day and mix the drugs with a cough syrup concoction called Lean.

 

Smith alleged that Higgins struggled with his mental health and was depressed. He then explained that it’s why he turned to drugs – mainly Percocet and lean – which were a mixture of codeine cough syrup and soda.

 

Juice WRLD suffered a seizure after arriving at Chicago’s Midway airport and was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics arrived at the scene.

 

He was conscious while being rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived at the medical facility.

 

Juice WRLD was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was best known for his hit singles, “All Girls Are the Same” and “Lucid Dreams”. Juice WRLD has worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott.

 

He celebrated his 21st birthday on Monday, 2nd December 2019.
