After months of speculation and rumours, Schick founder Simi Esiri has confirmed her separation from Nigerian singer-songwriter Sidney ‘Dr Sid’ Esiri. With no official statements of evidence to back up the whispers that travelled far, the rumours initially seemed baseless.
To further fuel the rumours, in December 2019, Simi Esiri shared a Christmas card of her family, and Dr Sid wasn’t in it.

In a statement she shared on Instagram, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Schick announced that they were heading to divorce. She, however, discredited claims that she was violent during their five-year marriage.
Simi and Sidney Esiri tied the knot in 2014 after their engagement in 2013. Their marriage was then blessed with two beautiful girls in 2015 and 2018 respectively.

So far, Dr Sid remains silent on the issue at hand.
