Billionaire Businesswoman Folorunso Alakija has pledged a donation of N1billion towards the fight against coronavirus in Nigeria.
Alakija made the announcement on her Instagram page on Monday, 30th March 2020.
The fund will be going to NCDC, Lagos State Government and Doctors fighting the Virus in Lagos and Abuja.

Guaranty Trust Bank in partnership with Lagos State Government has converted the Onikan Stadium to an Isolation centre, delivering 110 beds.
Billionaire Businessmen Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola have also pledged funds to curb the spread of the disease in Nigeria.
As of now, there are 111 confirmed cases in Nigeria, 5 recovered and 1 death.
