Infinix Announces Specifications And Features For Its Note 7 And Note 7 Lite

Hong-Kong-based smartphone manufacturer, Infinix has announced its latest smartphones as it moves past Note 6 into Note 7 series which comes with a Lite version.

It announced the Note 7 and Note 7 Lite on 6th April 2020, days after it launched an eCommerce store in Nigeria. According to GizmoChina, Note 7 comes with four back cameras arranged in a circular module and it has a punch-hole on the screen.

While there are differences between both smartphones, the Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite has some similar specifications. For example, the rear cameras have 48-megapixels capacities. However, there are some telling differences between them.

Specifications of Note 7

The Infinix Note 7 has a 6.95-inch IPS LCD Infinity-O screen display that offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. It also has a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone uses an Helio G70 chipset and comes along with a 6GB RAM. Note 7 has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixels.

Specifications of Note 7 Lite

The Infinix Note 7 Lite has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD Infinity O- screen display that offers 720 x 1600 pixels. It also has a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone uses an Helio P22 chipset along with a 4 GB of RAM. Note 7 Lite has a selfie camera of 8-megapixels.

The Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite are both equipped with an internal storage of 128 GB according to online specifications. In addition, there is a microSD card slot available onboard to provide extended storage space. Both phones also use large-sized 5,000mAh batteries.

Another difference in their specifications is that Note 7 comes with support for 18W rapid charging while Note 7 Lite supports 10W charging.

Both devices come with the latest version of the Android 10 and its own XOS 6.0 UI. It seems like only the Note 7 supports gesture-based navigation. But the two smartphones support DTS Audio processing.

The Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite are equipped with side-mounted fingerprint sensors. However, there has been no mention of what they will cost when they arrive.

We can guess that with TECNO’S Camon 15 Premier being below the NGN100,000 ($257) mark, Infinix would want to keep theirs in the same range to be able to compete. The company has not announced when it will be entering the market as well.
