You already know that most events including festivals that were supposed to hold this year have been moved to 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic. Afro Nation was billed to hold on the 17, 18, and 19 of July 2020, in Portugal. However, it has been rescheduled for July 1, 2, and 3, 2021.
The news came as a relief to many Afro Nation fans as there have been speculations on if the event will hold or not. People who’d also purchased tickets were also concerned as to if their monies will be refunded seeing that all the Portuguese beaches have been closed till next year.
The frontliners of the show were previously annouced and now, a new lineup has been added. They include Tekno, Timaya, Small Doctor, Koffee, Ms Banks, Rick Ross, Popcaan, and more.
The previously announced first lineup includes Wizkid, Sauti Sol, Skepta, 2Baba, Kizz Daniel, Olamide, and Wande Coal. Niniola, Patoranking, Burna Boy, Davido, Yemi Alade, Beenie Man, and other top artists will also be performing.
