Pornhub has announced that it now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin as payment for its premium services. The adult film company has been accepting Verge amongst several other cryptocurrencies as means of payment since 2018.
Pornhub has before now allowed its entertainers to receive payments in Tether, a stable coin linked to the US dollar. It had also previously announced it would accept both Tron and Horizen for content, too. Although its web page currently lists only Verge.
However, for the first time, Pornhub is accepting major types of cryptocurrency. Pornhub took to its Twitter page to make the announcement.

The Vice President of Pornhub, Corey Price, in a press release stated that the team will continue to find new ways to integrate the latest technology for their everyday customers.
“As a leader in adult content with over 130 million visitors per day, Pornhub is excited to now offer two widely-used and leading digital currencies for our users. Our team continues to pave the way for tech development, testing, and implementing new technology for everyday consumers far ahead of the mainstream market,” Price said.
The site has had issues with traditional funding methods in the past. Especially after PayPal suddenly blocked payments to the site without explanation.
