Controversial Nigerian artist Naira Marley is trending on Twitter for performing at a concert hosted at the Silverbird Entertainment Centre in Abuja on Saturday 13th June 2020.
The show organized by Play Network Africa also had Bbnaija’s ex-housemate Kim Oprah as its host. Naira Marley and Kim Oprah were flown from Lagos to Abuja for the show, breaking the interstate lockdown rules set up by the Federal task force on Coronavirus matters.
Twitter users have called out the Soapy crooner, and the organisers of the show and also, Bbnaija Kim Oprah. They called her a hypocrite for wearing a face mask at the BBnaija reunion yet traveled to Abuja to host a show.

In April 2020, Naira Marley alongside Funke Akindele and others were arraigned for hosting and attending a house party that had over 20 persons in attendance. The singer was later set free on warning grounds, but it seems the warnings did not take.
As of the time of writing this article, there have been no arrests, neither have Play Network Africa released an official statement on the show they organised.
