Tory Lanez Breaks Silence On The Megan Thee Stallion Shooting With New Album

Months after Megan Thee Stallion accused Tory Lanez of shooting her, the Canadian rapper has released a whole album to declare his innocence. The album named “Daystar” after the Lanez whose real name is Daystar Peterson addresses the allegation by Megan that he shot her.

Lanez on Thursday tweeted apologising to his fans for his silence all this while. He says he’s now ready to address the accusations with “Daystar.”

On songs in the album, Tory Lanez debunks Megan Thee Stallion’s claims that he shot her. He calls her name and criticises her for going to the media with the story without first talking to him.

The ill-fated incident happened in July in Hollywood Hills. Tory Lanez was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and Megan Thee Stallion suffered two gunshot wounds to her foot.

She has since confirmed reports that Lanez shot her. On an Instagram live chat she said:

“Yes, this n***a Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and sh-t,” she said. “Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand. I tried to keep the situation off the internet, but you’re dragging it.”

 

Since the news broke, celebrities like Halle Berry, Chance The Rapper, J R Smith have shown support for Megan while TI urged Lanez to share his own side of the story.
