Following the stigma surrounding the birth of the girl child in some countries, the fourth Sunday of every September is set aside to celebrate National Daughters Day.Several celebrities took to their social media pages to celebrate their daughters.

Amongst them was Osas Ighodaro, Seyi Tinubu, Kris Asimonye, Charlize Theron, Kris Jenner, and several more celebrity parents.

 

They shared sweet notes celebrating their beautiful girl children that got us all in our feelings.

 

Seyi Tinubu wrote a stirring prayer for his daughter Noella.

“I pray Father God that you would protect her; spirit, soul and body; giving her the strength to maintain her purity. That her mind would be focused on you and your word, as she pursues her teenage and young adult years. Surround her Lord with good company; equally yoked friends, who will encourage her when she need to be reminded of your love for her.” his caption read in part.

Kris while describing her baby girl Elena and how the celebrated wrote;

“For my mummy and me look, I wanted a strong boss chic look and @uyoyogram wanted her color pink on her outfit.

I honestly didn’t want a regular mummy & me dress look.

I needed strong & different. So both of us came together, met at a middle ground to create an outfit that emphasizes the strength of a woman and the girl child, but still very feminine 💗”
