“Seriously Single” centres on a pretty South African Girl by name Dineo. Dineo is a social media manager who wants to fall in love and be in a relationship. Her goal is to find a man she can go home to. She is quick to fall in love and even move in with her man as quickly as possible to secure her place in his life.
She meets Lunga, a fine, successful young man who has all the qualities she wants. However, it turns out he feels differently after she stumbles on him in a hotel hosting his Bachelor’s eve while they were still leaving together.
Dineo is comforted by her best friend Noni. She starts partying and drinking in order to move on, until she meets Lunga again but now divorced. Lunga seeks for her forgiveness and on her birthday, he goes on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.
