The highly anticipated Burna Boy X boohooMan merch has finally dropped boy does it look good!
The capsule collection had Burna Boy as a co-designer over virtual meetings between Lagos, Nigeria, and Manchester, the UK, Boohoman shared.
Even during quarantine, the artist and the clothing brand collaborated to birth the merch that will embody Burna’s fashionable side and the African pride.
The 120 piece merch features and an extensive range of matching suits, bomber, and varsity jackets, all cut in simple silhouette and vibrant colours.
Distressed denim, distinct plaid patchwork were incorporated into the merch. It also features accompanying accessories including headwears, slides, and shoulder bags, all bearing the bold B.

“Fashion is another form of self-expression; what you wear can directly reflect your current state of mind.” Burna Boy says. “So with this collection, I wanted every single person to be included, no matter what you do or the lifestyle you lead. I also wanted to start off making sure it could be accessible and attainable.” Burna Boy says about the collection.
He also added, “We’ve become like family now. boohooMAN are self-aware and they just get it! They understand the essence of self-expression and the journey/mission that I’m on. Big love and blessings.”
Speaking on the collaboration, boohooMan CEO, Samir Kamani says, “For me, Burna Boy is a pioneer across sound and style. Everything he stands for aligns with our core beliefs. This was a huge one for us and I am so happy to have Burna Boy join the family.”
This will not be boohooMan’s first collaboration with a Nigerian artist as they earlier this year released a merch with Mr Eazi.
