Nigerian music superstar Olamide has released his much-anticipated studio album “Carpe Diem.” The YBNL boss had previewed the album releasing two tracks off it “Eru” and “Greenlight.”
This new bodywork of work would be Olamide’s 9th studio album and features songs ranging from afropop, rap, RnB music genres. Producers on the album include P.Prime, ID Cabasa, Pheelz and Vstix.
The artist worked with A list Nigerian artists including Phyno, Peruzzi, Fireboy DML, Omah Lay, Bella Shmurda and Bad Boy Timz for “Carpe Diem.”
Olam released his first studio album “Rapsodi” in 2011 while still signed to coded tunes. He followed up with his second “YBNL” in 2012 under his own record label YBNL Nation. The album was rife with hit songs including “First of all”, “Stupid love” and “Ilefo Illuminati.”

He went on to release other albums, “Baddest guy ever liveth” in 2013, “Street OT” in 2014, “2 Kings” in April 2015 and “Eyan Mayweather” in November 2015. He released “The Glory” in 2016 and in February 2020 dropped his 8th body of work ” 999 EP”.
The songs on “Carpe Diem” include “Another level”, Greenlight, “Infinity”, “Eru”, “Triumphant” featuring Bella Shumrda, “At your service”, Chimichanga. Others are “Shalilo” ft Phyno, “Loading” ft Bad Boy Timz, “Unconditionally” ft Perruzi and “Plenty” ft YBNL signee Fireboy.
