Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Tweeted his support for Nigerian youth protesters on 15th October 2020 and he used the #EndSARS hashtag, signaling that the tag is back and Tweeps can use it.
Jack’s Tweet also advised donors towards the cause to do so via bitcoin. The advice is timely as there have been rumours that the Federal Government is blocking financial support for the police brutality protesters.
Dorsey had Tweeted in reply to a Feminist Coalition Tweet about the new ways to send financial support to youths protesting the ill-treatment and extra-judicial killings meted out by the Nigerian Police Force.

This #EndSARS Tweet is a bold move by Jack Dorsey and shows that the CEO is not neutral on what is happening in Nigeria. Like other tech companies, Twitter has proven over time to support the voices of the masses against government oppression.
Google Africa Team also showed support for the protests against SARS. It Tweeted:
We strongly oppose oppression, brutality & intimidation. We believe a fair and impartial police force is a critical element of a stable society, & that abuse of power infringes on people’s democratic & human rights. We urge a speedy resolution to the current situation. #EndsSARS

Also, Twitter recently verified some handles to help people recognise those organising the protest financials and legal matters. Some of the newly verified handles relating to the #EndSARS protest are: @feminist_co, @fkabudu, @adetolaov, and @Mochievous.
In other news, there have been rumours that the Nigerian government may shutdown the internet in the country to try and contain the protests. Many tech pieces have been going round on how citizens can continue to communicate if this happens. However, this eventuality is unlikely.
