Chairman of Stanbic IBTC and ANAP Foundation, Peterside Atedo on October 23rd gave an interview to Arise TV on the #EndSARS issue and people have really resonated with his words.
For three weeks now, Nigerians, especially Nigerian youths have joined forces to demand a change in the system, anchoring the struggle on #EndSARS.
Protests began all over the country and even in the diaspora. People called for the end of the notorious Special Anti-robbery Unit, SARS.
Things came to a hilt when military officials open live rounds on protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate Plaza on Tuesday, October 20th.
Mr Atedo during the interview with newsmen of the Arise TV faulted the use of the military to crack down on protesters.

He also criticised President Buhari’s now-infamous follow-up speech. According to former Cadbury MD, Buhari’s speech lacked empathy, a sentiment many share.
He enjoined the youths to not lose steam but to mobilise and seize political power come 2023. Mr Atedo Peterside also said 5% of the population is controlling 95%.
He advised that youths join already existing political parties to infiltrate the ranks. They should instead install credible people of their choice in important political positions.
He cautioned the Youths against divisive elements. He encouraged them to be focused, to find the silver lining in the Lekki Massacre.
Finally, Atedo Peterside asked that social media influencers arm themselves with important information. This is so they can steer their followers in the right steps.
