Lewis Hamilton recently clinched a seventh World Championship to become the most successful racing driver ever. He achieved this feat with a masterful victory in the Turkish Grand Prix on Sunday 15th November.
The Mercedes driver equaled Michael Schumacher’s achievement in terms of titles. This is after already surpassing the German’s number of race wins last month.
As he received the congratulations of his team, Hamilton was almost overcome with emotions in the car after the race, saying: “To all the kids out there, dream the impossible.”
“Seven is just unimaginable but when you work with such a great group of people and you really trust each other, there is just no end to what you can do together. I feel like I’m only just getting started, it’s really weird.” He added.

During the #EndSARS movement last month, the British Formula 1 champion was among the celebrities that spoke up for the cause. Lewis took to his Instagram page wearing a black shirt with the Nigerian flag and #ENDSARS boldly inscribed on it. He described the recent events in Nigeria as a human rights crisis.
