It has been revealed that American Tanya Roberts died from a urinary tract infection. Her representative told PEOPLE. She was 65.
Roberts was first reported dead on Monday morning before her publicist corrected the news that she died Monday night.
Mike Pingel in a statement said “With a heavy heart, I can confirm the death of Tanya Roberts last night on January 4, 2021, around 9:30 pm PT at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA,”
Pingel went on to state that Roberts’ cause of death “was from a urinary tract infection which spread to her kidney, gallbladder, liver and then bloodstream”.
Roberts previously collapsed while walking her dogs on 24th December, according to multiple reports. Roberts was then admitted to a hospital and put on a ventilator.
The announcement follows a rollercoaster day in which Roberts was reported dead Monday the morning after. However, her partner of 18 years Lance O’Brien, believed her to have died on Sunday.

The actress famously starred in the James Bond flick,” A View to a Kill”. She also portrayed Midge Pinciotti on the FOX period sitcom That “70s Show”.
Tanya starred as Kiri in 1982’s sword-and-sorcery fantasy adventure, “The Beastmaster.” In the 1984 fantasy “Sheena: Queen of the Jungle” Roberts starred as the titular character, a female version of Tarzan. Shot in Kenya, “Sheena” bombed at the box office, earning five Golden Raspberry Awards.
